If you want to stop dreaming too much, the solution to your problem is not what you may desire. In order to stop seeing too many bad dreams in which you are in dangerous situations, you feel awful, and you awake up sad, you have to correct your mistakes.
Follow these tips to sweet dreams.
1. Each night, about a half hour before you close your eyes to sleep. Map out what you want to dream about. Tell yourself over and over that you are in control of your dreams and anything you want, you can have.
2. Avoid fatty and spicy foods, which could cause gas and, in turn, nightmares.
3. Give up smoking. Nicotine has been linked to certain sleep disorders.
4. Avoid watching the evening news, horror movies or movies with graphic violence right before bed.
